Highlight these if you see them: this is a spoiler Its a spoiler so If you haven't read the series I don't recommend reading them.
The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.
This series is my personal favorite. I loved the plot and all the characters. My favorite character would probably have to be either Simon or Sebastian. Even though he is a bad guy lol. I didn't want the series to end.
Don't read what the rest of the series is about if you have just started or haven't started City Of Bones because it will most likely ruin the whole series for you.
Heres what the City Of Bones is about:
When fifteen-year-old
Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she
hardly expects to witness a murder -- much less a murder committed by
three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre
weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the
police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there
is nothing -- not even a smear of blood -- to show that a boy has died.
Or was he a boy?
This is Clary's first meeting with the
Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's
also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little
like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary
is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother
disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would
demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And
how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to
know. . . .
Sound Good? I thought so :). I'm not a huge fan of Clary since she kisses Jace, Simon and Sebastian.
The beginning of it was pretty good and I really got into it. All of the books left me on a cliffhanger. Obviously! I like romantic novels so I recommend this to everyone who wants an action packed, romance novel to read because that's what I like to read. And this series fulfilled that.
I rate this 5/5 stars.
